* Officially: There is none as the game was ment to be distributed with this patch already added.
* Unofficially: from what i found from v1.0 to v1.01 it has better graphics, improves Game performance and fixes online issues such as stability and other little things.

* Difficulty of Hard mode has been increased
* Implemented a toggle for switching between widescreen (16:9) and full screen (4:3) in the Options|Performance|Advanced Settings menu
* Implemented a toggle for head bob in Options|Game Settings
* Implemented a toggle for film grain in the Options|Performance|Advanced Settings menu
* Leaving a multiplayer lobby now returns the player to the associated multiplayer menu instead of the front end main menu
* Applied fix for energy weapon audio causing lag
* Applied fix for team balancing host options not being applied properly
* Changing team swap during selection and grace periods to swap at the next spawn
* Applied fix for team name showing as "undefined" after swapping teams

Instructions:
1. Download the Game From http://thepiratebay.ee/torrent/4793509/
2. Download this torrent and Run "F.E.A.R._2_AutoInstaller_v1.03_renaFUSED.EXE" Chose the Destination <Game Folder> where the game is located then Click "Install"
3. Run the desktop shortcut "Fear 2" and Enjoy.

Well with me it's not really works ... I run Loader.exe , i see the circle turning on the black screen but the intro ( "Warner", "Monolith", etc ... ) doesn't appear ... I have the sound but the black screen with the circle still here ... even in the main menu .... Anyone else have these problem ?

If you don't use the renaFUSED fear version, it will obv not run. The note "this patch is compatiblw whit all game version" i suppose that means the FEAR version (v 1.0, v1.02 etc.) i suppose. BTW thx rena for the upload, just downloading, gonna seed this and the game for some hours!
Nice work with the update, it runs perfectly with the DIE version I downloaded a couple of months ago.
I just have a issue. It seems that my steam games are not able to join online games after playing FEAR 2 now. Not really a big deal since restarting steam fixes the problem, I just wanted to know if it's normal.

@Cyb3rZer0: thats because the game uses an older version of the steam dll's but you don't need to run steam to play this game :)

BTW, installed the patch and got problems. When i launch the game it says "Failed to intialize client-Unknow error.". Any ideas about this one man?

@CCCCOMBO: did you install it in the game's location? as in the folder where the game is located???
@CCCCOMBO: cause if not thats why you get an error :) i just tred running it myself not located in the game folder and it gave me the same error so thats your prob right there, so uninstall it and reinstall it then Select the Game Folder where the game is located Click "Install"

sure, it created a new icon on the desktop too but when i launch i hear the windows error sound, i need to alt-tab and i see that windows whit the error message. Maybe i can try whit issue 7, the codec?

vista, vista, vista...you were right man, vista IDUNNOFUKKINWHY just COPYED the game from the program folders to public games/FEAR/Fear 2 (ye, a folder in a folder :|). So you were right, folder error. Sorry again man, will seed for two days for this :°D
@CCCCOMBO: now the uninstaller and shortcuts wont work.... all you had to do was change the destination folder on the installer :)

Yo,sorry for triple post,but anyone figure out how to make Xfire recognise the game?I have tried to manually set it up under the xfire options but it always says:

@Anthony817: this game doesn't use or require steam that is why it's not detected. try adding it as a none steam game :)

I have a question: I installed all as requested (had version 1.02 before) and also in the right dictionary - but then new Desktop - Shortcut won't work - screen turns black and thats it. the "old" shortcut works fine but it says version 1.02 - so is it patched now or not? Thx for help!

Ya,well I have vista Ultimate 32,and I selected the correct directory where the icon is and it worked all good here man.No problems to speak of.
First of all Thx for help ! I do have XP 32 all updated , the install itself works fine (right directoy imo otherwise it would be an error message!?) as said after install there is new (second) F 2 - icon when I click it screen gets dark! Strange,huh!? I did install my game btw with Daemontools and the famous 2 virtual drives - could that be the prob!? Dunno... Thx for further hints! ;-)

ALSO!Don't forget that if you have other versions of the game such as DIE and GTI releases then you must launch the game from the "Loder" icon in the game directory since his patch works via loader only.Hope that helps you folks out.Here is what the last patch read me he released spoke of regarding this....

OK - I got it patched now (path was wrong in fact dunno why) BUT I can only start the game from the F2 folder with that Loader - File!? I tried all to create a Desktopshortcut but gives error messages all the time , tells me to rename it in the "rev" file etc.!? Hm, maybe a clue from ur side!? Sry but I'm not such an expert!
Got it now! I had to make a integrated link from the Loader. exe to Desktop not a copy that won't work. Also interesting I got the GTI version - but thx anyway for answers and the patch of course, too! ;-)

UPDATE FOR PATCH 1.04: I've Ran into a little snag and I'm currently working on resolving it, the snag is the patch 1.04 works for single player but not Online Multiplayer. So I'm working on a fix for it and I will keep you all updated.
